Our Gallery is located in Príncipe Real, 26, in Lisbon, where our artists are exposed daily and they are spoken to those who visit us as a jewel that everyone needs to know.
It is our gift to Portuguese culture.
We now make it known through this site, sharing them with everyone who wishes to benefit from them.
When visiting our website - www.welcometoart.pt - or using our services, you are automatically accepting the practices described in these Terms and Conditions and in our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them respectfully, we ask that you do not use our services.
This online presence is owned by the company Welcometoart - Unipessoal, Lda., Legal person no. 514834137, which is also its registration number at the Commercial Registry Office of Lisbon, with a registered capital of 200.00 Euros, headquarters at Estrada Militar de Valejas, Studio 21, Nirvana Studios 2730-226 Barcarena, which is dedicated to the dissemination of Portuguese Art and Culture, agencying artists and promoting business of buying and selling works of art.
The images that are presented correspond to the works of art in their real state, however with low resolution. Most works of art are available for commercial transactions and can be seen, in person, at our Galeria do Príncipe Real, no. 26, in Lisbon.
As a potential beneficiary of the works, you will be able to purchase articles on this site and will be bound by all the sales conditions described, including, but not limited to, price, payment methods established in the case of national sales or international sales, as well as other associated expenses and with origin in the sale.
Welcome To Art takes into consideration the information regarding the essential characteristics of the works through descriptions shared by its artists, photographs and videos that illustrate the articles marketed, in strict respect for the best standards in the market, transmitting them in a clear way to their potentials beneficiary buyers in the area of each work.
Welcome To Art clearly displays on its website the total price of each work or service, including taxes and fees, additional transport charges, postal or delivery charges or any other charges that may apply.
Welcome To Art cannot be held responsible in the event of a computer, manual, technical, or other error, which causes a substantial change not foreseen in the sale price, so in cases where it is exorbitant or manifestly insignificant, the purchase order will be considered invalid and void and the potential buyer beneficiary will be informed of this fact, and the purchase is only confirmed when Welcome To Art sends this acceptance, by written communication, since each process is treated according to individual and exclusive way.
The prices and works available on the Welcome To Art website, as well as the promotional campaigns, are only valid for purchases made through it, and may not coincide with those practiced in the Gallery, except for promotions expressly indicated on the online page.
All works for sale have their respective value, including VAT.
In order to place an order, it may be necessary to access the website and create an account as a user, by filling in an electronic form with your personal data, following the instructions indicated in each step, or by contact through the available means of contact. and indicated below.
At Welcome To Art all payment methods are registerable and identifiable, by bank transfer or bank card, respecting the protection of confidential information, not having access to data in compliance with the applicable legislation.
The website www.welcometoart.pt and its services can only be used for legal purposes and legally. As a potential buyer beneficiary, you agree to comply with all laws, statutes and regulations on the use of the site and its services, including with regard specifically to the purchase of works of art and the position of the artists, and may not allow other people or entities can purchase works through the website and its services with their user data.
Welcome To Art will not be responsible for any activity resulting from information from a compromised account or identity.
Any images of works included on the site are provided for use only in the context of the site or services and are subject to all limitations set forth herein.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved for Welcome To Art.
The delivery of the works can be carried out in our Gallery or through the other means of dispatch usually available, by prior agreement, which will add to the acquisition, namely due to shipping costs, transport insurance and others that may be informed in the act of acquisition.
Home delivery, in mainland Portugal, takes up to three working days and in the Autonomous Regions up to seven working days, starting from the formal validation of the order, and outside Portugal the situation will be checked on a case-by-case basis depending on the destination.
Upon delivery, any eventual anomaly visible on the packaging must be reported to the courier and, also, in writing to our Gallery.
As we intend to share Art and Culture with all those who contact us, we seek total satisfaction, so we accept returns within 14 days after delivery. The artwork may be returned:
- At the time of delivery and without opening the package, the reason for the return is indicated on the shipping document, requesting that they contact us at that time to help with the procedure.
- Up to 14 days after delivery, you must send us an e-mail, indicating the data related to the order you want to return.
All returned artworks, as well as their frames and accessories, must be in perfect condition, complete and fully wrapped and packaged. It is possible that we are forced to refuse to accept the return of works that are not in acceptable conditions. In case of contractual withdrawal due to the aquirente's responsibility, the expenses with packaging, postage and other costs originating from the transaction are your responsibility. The reimbursement of the price of the work will take place up to 10 days after the date of receipt of the product and the acceptance of its return.
The right of free resolution can be exercised by filling and sending electronically the model of free resolution form attached to the aforementioned Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of 14 February, available at http: //www.pgdlisboa. pt / leis / lei_mostra_articulado.php? nid = 2062 & table = laws or through any other unambiguous declaration of resolution.
These Terms and Conditions and all contracts that may be entered into under them are governed by Portuguese law.
The competent forum, in the event of any dispute, is that of the Judicial Court of the District of Lisbon.
There are alternative means of resolving consumer disputes related to purchases in the European Union and a Consumer Arbitration Network. The consumer can go to the European Consumer Center through the ODR Platform (“online dispute resolution”), with competence to resolve disputes related to contractual obligations resulting from sales contracts or online services.
